Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works.<\/em><br \/>\n<strong> &nbsp;&nbsp;James 2:14-18<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is already for years that a number of parishes of Russian Orthodox Church in Germany help to foreign children and their parents that come to Germany for a medical treatment. Usually these children are gravely sick. The parents &#8211; usually mothers &#8211; come to Germany from Russia, Ukraine, White Russia and other countries to find themselves in harsh, often unbearable conditions. They cannot speak the language. They cannot get a good advice. They have no friends or acquaintances.   <\/p>\n<p>It would be good if this initiative that is so natural for our churches in Germany, grows and spreads to all parishes of both German dioceses. Service to neighbor &#8211; diaconia in Greek &#8211; is a natural continuation of the Divine Liturgy.
