In May, with the funds raised \u0430 SWASH device was purchased for Denis Krasnikov<\/strong>, cerebral palsy, 16 years old, Voronezh, financial assistance was provided to the family of Sasha Provotorov<\/strong>, 6 years old, Gatchina (Leningrad Region), brain tumor, and to other families of
\nthe care-receivers.<\/p>\n

In May, we have received and are processing 25 new requests for help, this does not include the requests for assistance that came to our local groups. In addition to simple financial support, our care-receivers frequently ask for help in finding a clinic, solving complex legal issues, translating documents or conversations with a doctor, finding a rare or expensive at home equipment or a medicine, getting to the place of the treatment, finding accommodation, helping with a visa, arranging a feast for a child in a hospital on their birthday, they ask for an advice, a support, a talk, they ask to bring them to a priest. Our volunteers try to help everyone and do everything in our power. And so far they do an excellent job. Yet we will gladly appreciate your participation and support!

\nLittle Sasha has a sister Lisa. We helped her in the past year and as well in the year before last with the kidney and liver transplant surgery, and then purchased the expensive medications requred for new organs to live in her body.
\nSasha had the same illness as his sister … Sasha’s kidney had hardly worked, so he got a surgery in Minsk. Now, he requires a surgery on the second kidney, as well as a liver transplant, so not to lose these organs…
\nThe mother\u2019s salary only suffices for food and necessary medicines. The mother raises her beloved children alone.
\nFor the previous and upcoming surgeries, the hospital bills for EUR 4,600.\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\nIlya Soldatov<\/strong>, 3 years old, Moscow, epileptic encephalopathy.
\nFrom the letter of his mother:
\n\u201cOur son has diagnosed with a very rare disease and is observed in the clinic at Heidelberg University. We have repeatedly appealed to your organization for help and have received the tremendous help and support while in Germany: that with the translations, and financial one, and with picking us up at the airport. Thank you once again! However, at the moment we have to go to this clinic again. We got the bill. But we don’t have money to pay for it. \u201d
\nThis family has already passed a difficult path. The parents have
\nalready lost their eldest son. Now they are fighting for the younger Ilyusha. A huge number of surveys, and two trips to Germany are behind. There, they were finally able to establish a diagnosis. An extremely rare metabolic disorder was found. It is uncurable, but it is possible to
\ngreatly alleviate the child condition, and give him an opportunity to live in joy and happiness. No time to wait.

The Orthodox Volunteer Day on July 5-7,
\n2019 in Krefeld.<\/strong> The theme of the Day – Traditions of Christian charity and new technologies in volunteer work.
\nThe speakers include: Vladyka Panteleimon (Shatov), the head of the Synodal Department for Church Charity and Social Service of the Russian Orthodox Church, Frederika de Graaf, a volunteer of the First Moscow Hospice named after Vera Millionshchikova, a spiritual child of Metropolitan Anthony of Sourozh, Pascale L\u00e9pine, the founder of a consulting company Atypic<\/em>, Konstantin Sedov, the head of \u201dBolnychnye Klouny\u201d, the hospital clowns organization in Russia.
\nThe participation in the Volunteer Day is open to everyone, regardless of the experience of volunteer work.
