<\/a>Angelina Tkachenko<\/strong>, 2.3 years, from Odessa, retinoblastoma. From the very first months of her life, the child and her parents are fighting against the cancer of the eye retina. Contact with the doctors in Odessa didn\u2019t yield any results. The child was transported to Berlin, where she received a diagnostic and where the treatment started. However, even that proved to be ineffective and the professor directed Angelina to the university clinic of Essen for a proton therapy, the last chance for the child to survive and recover. The cost of the therapy is 84 000 euros.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/a>Dmitri Meshkov<\/strong>, from Orenburg, 18 y.o, epidermolysis bullosa\nHe can\u2019t jump, can\u2019t run, as his skin is very easily damaged and even from a soft touch it \u201cslides\u201d, the body forms bubbles as if it was burned. The healing process takes a while, sometimes a couple of months, and forms scarring tissue, which has a negative effect on the already thinned out skin. Sometimes there is a problem with swallowing food, and sometimes the food doesn\u2019t go down at all because the digestive tract is narrowed and the swallowing process causes an excruciating pain. The fingers on his hands have deformed and grown together because of the constant wounds and because there is essentially no skin left.
\nIn the family, where apart from Dima there is also a younger sibling, only the father works, as the mother is caring for him. Every day, sometimes twice a day, his mum will bandage his whole body: all his bandages are soaked off, the wounds get disinfected and then new balm, cream and bandages are applied, which helps the wounds to heal. The lad lives in his cocoon of bandages, but he has a plan and hope.\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

\n\u00abI really need my hands. At the moment I am finishing my last year at school. I hope to successfully complete the national state exam and get a place in a university, studying to become a programmer. In our country, children like me are helped by the foundation \u201cDeti BELA\u201d. Unfortunately, I am no longer a child and can\u2019t rely on the help from them. And I have a while to live still.
\nDespite my diagnosis, I want to remain a man until the end. I don\u2019t want to be a hindrance to my mum and my relatives. I need and I will work, I need to get an income for our family. For that I need my hands and my brain.
\nIn the university clinic of Freiburg they have already done an operation on the fingers of my right hand and treated my teeth and I was very happy with the result. I have asked for the bill for an operation to separate the fingers on my hands, because I dream of acquiring and master this profession.<\/em>.\u00bb<\/p>\n
\nThe bill for the operation is 31286 euros.<\/p>\n
