Champaign “Christmas gift”: Thanks!

Dear friends,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
With your help, over 20 children in Diakonia’s care received gifts for the winter holidays.
Here are excerpts from parents’ letters and photographs:
“…we received the gifts. The children went with their dad to pick up the package. They were so happy, they were jumping up and down. We’ve been without power, phone service, heat, and water for 24 hours now. I’m writing and will send a message as soon as we get back to work. Liza is still in the process of putting together the playhouse; we only received the package this morning. We’ll send you photos right away. My dears, I’m in tears of joy that you remember us, that you bring us joy, thank you so much!“
“Maxim received a tablet yesterday. He’s incredibly happy! And now, using a special app on his tablet, he can communicate and express his thoughts and wishes! Thank you so much for such an incredible New Year’s campaign!“
“I don’t know how to express my sincere gratitude to you and all the volunteers; you make the impossible possible.” A deep bow from me to you all, may you and your families always be happy and healthy. Thank you so much for the wonderful gifts for Mark. The jacket is simply incredible and he feels great in it; it will last him a couple of years, if not more. Thank you so much.“
