AUGUST 2024

Dear friends, every donation you make is not just financial support: it is a chance for life and health for these children.

Last month, with your help, we managed to cover the following expenses:
The purchase of a special trainer for Sofia Andrus, Ukraine, 11 years old, heart defect, cerebral palsy;
Rehabilitation for Liza Terebovets, Belarus, 5 years old, SMA;
Diagnostic tests for Alexei Drannoy, Belarus, cerebral palsy;
Checkup and treatment for Valeria Semenova, Russia, 2 years old, retinoblastoma.

This month, we have more children awaiting for help:

KAMILYA ZAGIDULLINA, 12 years old, Novosibirsk. Diagnosis: congenital heart defect (common arterial trunk).
Kamilya has been battling a severe heart condition since birth. Since 2019, doctors in Russia have refused to continue treatment, forcing the family to seek help abroad. Since 2020, Kamilya has been treated in Barcelona at the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital. She now requires another surgery to replace the conduits between the right ventricle and the pulmonary arteries, as well as to remove a broken stent. This surgery is vital. The amount needed is 64,951 euros.
MATVEY ANDREEVSKY, 8 years old, Warsaw. Diagnosis: cerebral palsy (CP), epilepsy.
Matvey underwent two complex surgeries in the USA, one of which helped to reduce spasticity, and
the other improved the condition of his legs. However, for full recovery, he needs regular and intensive
rehabilitation in specialized centres. Matvey’s mother, who is also ill with diabetes and raises Matvey
and his sister alone, cannot work because her entire life is devoted to caring for her son. She has already
spent all her savings on the surgeries and sold her home to pay for Matvey’s treatment. But without
rehabilitation, for which there are no more funds, all previous efforts may be in vain. The rehabilitation
is scheduled to begin on 28.8. The amount needed is 3,490 euros.
ALEXANDER AKHREMENKO, 2 years old, Moscow. Diagnosis: binocular retinoblastoma.
At the age of 1 year and 1 month, Alexander was diagnosed with a terrifying condition—cancer of the retinas in both eyes. Thanks to your support last year, we managed to stop the tumor’s growth and save sight in one of Sasha’s eyes. However, retinoblastoma is a highly aggressive disease, especially dangerous in early childhood. To continue his treatment, Alexander regularly undergoes examinations and treatments at the Jules-Gonin clinic in Switzerland. These procedures are very costly, and the family once again needs help. They need to raise 10,600 euros to pay the latest invoice from the clinic.
Thank you for supporting our DOBROMORE program for the rehabilitation of families with sick children from conflict zones and for psychological training for psychologists and volunteers in Montenegro in October 2024. We still need to raise 4,700 euros to ensure that families can attend free of charge. If you would like to support our beneficiaries, our volunteers, and our common future, you can donate to this campaign by marking your donation with Dobromore24. We also invite you to participate if you are a psychologist or volunteer (or wish to become one)! More information is available on our website at dobromore.eu.

HURRY TO DO GOOD!
Take care of yourself and your loved ones!
Warm regards,
Yours, Alina Titova
