DECEMBER 2025

Dear friends,
I wish all of you a joyful holiday season! May the coming year make us stronger, more compassionate, and kinder — to one another and to ourselves. May every child be safe, healthy, and happy. Christmas time is a time of miracles — and many of these miracles we create with our own hands.
Last month, with your help, we supported:
Mark Vasiltsov, 5 years old, Belarus, eye cancer, and Sasha Provotorov, 13 years old, Russia, brain cancer, by helping to cover diagnostics and treatment costs.

The first Christmas charity fairs of Dobroye Delo in Cologne and Stuttgart were a great success! Thanks to all volunteers, organizers, and helpers! Thanks to everyone who came, supported us, and brought joy to themselves and their loved ones. All collected funds will go directly toward the treatment of our beneficiaries.

This month, the following children are waiting for our help:

MATVEY ANDREEVSKY, 12 years old, Ukraine. Diagnosis: spastic diplegia
Matvey suffers from spastic diplegia caused by cerebral palsy. Despite many challenges, he remains incredibly brave, cheerful, and deeply hopeful that one day he will be able to walk on his own. After examination at the Paley European Institute, he was recommended a complex orthopedic surgery that can greatly improve his mobility and quality of life. In addition, he will require long-term, intensive rehabilitation, which also involves significant costs. Matvey and his mother currently live and receive treatment in Warsaw.
The cost of the surgery is €29,312.
MATVEY MASLIY, 10 years old, Ukraine. Diagnosis: NBIA — neurodegeneration with brain iron accumulation.
Some time ago, Matvey’s health began to deteriorate. He was diagnosed with a very rare genetic disease. Tests revealed a cyst in the posterior cerebellum, iron accumulation, and severe gait impairment.
Matvey lives in Ukraine, where obtaining treatment or even finding the necessary medication is extremely difficult now. In his letter to Father Frost, Matvey wrote about his deepest wish — to recover
He urgently needs help purchasing the medication Zeno 360. Amount needed: €1,200.
ALEXANDER SADOVSKIY, 5 years old, Moldova. Diagnosis: epilepsy.
Sasha developed normally until the age of six months. During the pandemic, he contracted COVID, which led to a stroke, leukoencephalomalacia, spastic tetraparesis, and multifocal pharmacoresistant epilepsy that does not respond to standard medication.
To maintain stability, he must regularly take the anti-epileptic drug Epidiolex. His family needs help purchasing the medication.
Required amount: €900.
Become Santa!
If you would like to give a New Year or Christmas gift to sick children, you may donate to our account with the note Kinderhilfe Geschenk or purchase/send gifts directly through our local volunteers — gifts that the children have asked Father Frost for.
We will publish the children’s letters and wish lists on our website orthodiakonia.de.

Hurry to do good!
Warm hugs
Yours Alina Titova
