JANUARY 2026

Dear friends!
I congratulate everyone on the past holidays. I wish all of us to keep in our hearts a piece of Christmas joy and hope throughout the year! May doing good become our contribution to this world that is now experiencing a sharp shortage of love and mercy.

We gratefully remember everyone who helped us to help during the past year. Throughout the year our volunteers and friends in different cities and countries supported those who were in need.
This year we received 28 new requests. In 20 cases help was needed for children, in 8 – for adults. Four requests came from refugee families. Out of those who applied, 21 families have already received all necessary assistance, the rest continue to be in progress.

We also continue to support our regular beneficiaries undergoing treatment in Germany. Most requests were connected with oncology, cardiology, cerebral palsy and genetic diseases.
About 70,000 euros were collected. Thank you, dear donors! Thank you to the volunteers of the foundations department, to the organizers of fairs and charity events! Most of these funds were spent on treatment and rehabilitation.
In addition to medical support and fundraising, families asked us for psychological help, information, assistance in purchasing medicines, finding housing and solving everyday problems.

Within the DobroMore project in October 2025 we held the 4th Psychological Conference and the 7th family rehabilitation session in Budva. A video about the session for families with sick children and volunteers can be watched on our YouTube channel: https://taplink.cc/dobromore
For the New Year we were able to bring joy to our little and adult beneficiaries. As last year, more than fifty children, elderly people and refugees received gifts through the “Gift” campaign held both locally and online. Thank you to everyone who responded, bought a gift or donated money, helping to create a small miracle!
One of the parents wrote: “As a mother I want to express deep gratitude for the opportunity to fulfill my daughter’s wish… It is not just a present – it is a chance to see a child’s smile and laughter, when painful procedures and endless chemotherapy days fade away and a moment of carefree childhood comes. Thank you for the possibility to continue studying in hospital walls, to brighten long monotonous days with films and cartoons. May you have strength to keep helping children with cancer.”
Thank you to all volunteers, sponsors and friends of the Diakonia, to our whole team working in technical, media, clinics and foundations, translation, medical equipment and application departments.
Thank you to everyone who prayed for us and our beneficiaries! Joy and strength in the new year! We continue to help.
In December–January we helped:
– Misha Sokolov, 14, Moscow, multiple arthrogryposis – housing during treatment in Germany;
– Matvey Masliy, 10, Ukraine – purchase of regular medication;
– Liza Ekimova, 13, Tomsk, cerebral palsy – payment for a rehabilitation course;
– Ignat Litvinenko, 12, Kazakhstan – payment for treatment.

This month our help is awaited by
MAKSIM MUKHIN, 6 years old, Voronezh, cerebral palsy.
Since birth Maxim has been undergoing rehabilitation which only prevents deterioration but does not allow him to stand. Strong spasticity in the legs prevents walking; at home he moves on all fours, outside – in a wheelchair. Without surgery dislocations and severe pain may occur.
Maxim loves playing with a ball and watching other children run. To be able to stand and walk he needs SPML surgery at IASO clinic in Greece. The operation is scheduled for April 2026. Cost – 26,950 euros. The family asks for help.

HURRY TO DO GOOD!
Take care of yourselves and your loved ones!
With warm hugs,
Alina Titova
