JUNE 2025

Dear friends! Thank you for your continued help!

Last month, with your support, we were able to help: Aleksey Dranny — with diagnostics in a clinic, and the Sanyukevich family — with the connection of running water in their home.

This month, your help is needed for:

Anastasia Prutik, 10 years old, Grodno, Belarus. Diagnosis: Ewing’s Sarcoma.
Anastasia was diagnosed in November 2022. She underwent treatment in Germany, but her left leg could not be saved. In 2023, Helios Klinikum Berlin Buch performed an amputation at the lower third of the thigh. Two months later, she received a prosthetic and started physical therapy. She quickly learned to walk confidently, now goes out on her own to socialize and even attends modeling classes. But due to her growth, the shape of the stump has changed — her leg turns blue and she experiences tingling while wearing the prosthetic. An urgent new prosthesis is needed, as the old one no longer fits. At her last examination in Schwerin (held every 3 months), a new cost estimate was issued. The family is fighting hard to prevent her from going back to a wheelchair. Her mother pleads for help so her daughter can continue living fully — “She’s already been through so many trials for a child!” Amount needed: €7,500
Mikhail Sokolov, 14 years old, Moscow. Diagnosis: Multiple Arthrogryposis.
Mikhail spent the first 3 years of his life in an orphanage. Due to a congenital condition, he couldn’t even sit, let alone walk. He was adopted and his new mother did everything to help him stand and walk. Numerous surgeries in Germany and Israel helped rebuild his feet and legs — and after five years, Mikhail started to walk. But a year ago, complications arose. German doctors recommended urgent surgery on his foot. His mother, raising him alone, was able to cover diagnostic costs but can’t afford the operation. Amount needed: €49,500 for surgery and orthoses.

Sasha and Pasha Sanyukevich, 15 years old, Grodno. Diagnosis: Cerebral Palsy. Sasha and Pasha are long-time friends of our organization. We once helped them undergo hip surgery. Now they need local support. The family is preparing to move to a new home. If anyone in Grodno is able to assist a heroic single mother with two disabled teenage sons in moving and basic repairs, we would be very grateful. Please write to us, and we will connect you with the family.
Summer is the time to prepare for autumn! Psychological Conference in Montenegro October 10–14, 2025. Theme: “Working Through Parent-Child Relationships in Psychology: From Confrontation to Gratitude”. Open to psychologists and all interested.
DOBROMORE Rehabilitation Program October 11–23, Montenegro. We are building our team — if you have organizing talent and a big heart, join us! For the program we invite psychologists, massage therapists, rehab specialists, creative workshop instructors as well. Training and support included — and a bright bonus course from our hospital clowns Daria and Igor.

Registration for participating families is open until August 1: More info at dobromore.eu

HURRY TO DO GOOD!
Warm hugs,
Yours, Alina Titova
