MAY 2025

Dear friends!
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank everyone who supports us — our donors, volunteers, and friends around the world. Thanks to you, we continue to help those who are in greatest need — children and their families facing serious diagnoses and despair.

Last month, with your help, we supported: MIKHAIL SOKOLOV, 13 years old, Moscow – multiple arthrogryposis – assistance with purchasing travel tickets and volunteer support during a clinic visit. ALEXANDRA SUMETS, 11 years old, Mykolaiv – Klippel-Trenaunay-Weber Syndrome – help with purchasing medications.

This month, your help is especially needed for:

KONSTANTIN BELYANSKY, 8 years old, Khabarovsk. Diagnosis: cancer.
Konstantin has been battling cancer for 5 years — most of his life has been spent in hospitals under IVs and chemotherapy. He has never experienced remission, and in March 2025, the disease flared up again. The treatment plan was changed, and new rounds of radiation and chemotherapy lie ahead. The family is doing everything to save their son, but their resources are fully exhausted: they sold their apartment, took out loans, and spent all their savings on previous treatment. Now, the Teknon Clinic in Spain, where Konstantin is being treated, has issued a new bill. Radiation therapy must begin very soon, but there is no money left. Konstantin’s mother is reaching out to all kind-hearted people for help. The amount needed: €60,000.
MARIA LEONTYEVA, 7 years old, Moscow. Diagnosis: SMA.
Maria is a bright, courageous child despite her serious diagnosis. Since early childhood, she has been fighting a disease that took away her ability to walk. The only path to improvement includes extremely expensive medications and continuous, costly rehabilitation. The family is constantly seeking ways to continue treatment and is now in urgent need of support: funds are needed for a consultation at the Charité Clinic in Berlin, accommodation, and travel expenses. In Russia, two medical councils denied further treatment, and only German doctors are ready to help. Every donation is a step toward Maria’s healing and her dream — to rise from her wheelchair and walk. The amount needed: €5,000.
We invite you to participate in our charity fairs, support fundraising efforts, and follow the latest news at orthodiakonia.de and dobromore.eu. HURRY TO DO GOOD!
Warm hugs,
Yours, Alina Titova
