SEPTEMBER 2018

Good day to you all!
Thank you for your persistent support and taking part in the fate of our care-receivers!
In August, we have helped with the purchase of a stroller for Dima Sergienko, 11 y. o., cerebral palsy, from New Usman, Russiam, have paid the medicine for Zakhar Tsaplin, 11 y. o., from Kyiv region, Ukraine, kidney transplantation (however, we are still looking for a sponsor who is ready to support the family for several months!), have paid for the treatment in Czechia for Rodion Nyhotin, 4 years, cerebral palsy , from Lugansk region, Ukraine, have helped with the payment of treatment in Israel to Daria Malyshko, 19 years old, sarcoma, from St. Petersburg, Russia.

Our care-receivers in September:

Asel Gusmanova, 13 y.o., acute lymphoblastic leukemia and B-hcell lymphoma of the head, Volgograd region, Russia. The tumor in the head has been partially removed in Burdenko center, Russia. Further treatment Asel has received in D. Rogachev center. . The 6 months treatment went on with great complications, the girl even fell into a three-day coma. In Germany, at Münster university clinic , the family was offered the most advanced and reliable medication treatment. Asel has been diagnosed and passed an expensive course of chemotherapy. It took her a long time to recover after the course. They planned the radiation therapy for the head and 2 chemotherapy courses. Yet now the financial department of the clinic has stopped the treatment because of the fund shortage on the account of Asel. With the help of several charity foundations, they collected about 45 000 €. To continue the treatment, they urgently need another 50 000 €
Nikita Donchuk, 12 y. o., dyskinetic cerebral palsy, Ukraine. The child has got his disease as a result of birth trauma due to the negligence of an obstetrician-gynecologist. The biological father has abandoned him as he has learned that the child is seriously ill. His mother does everything for Nikita to live a full and happy life. Due to the regular rehabilitation courses, Nikita has learned a lot of skills, and this summer even mastered a special bike. While he studies at home, he wants very much to attend a regular school. Nikita dreams of walking, at least with the walking supports. For this, he requires a surgery that makes use of the unique technique of Prof. Ulzibat in Tula, Russia. The bill for the surgery is about 600 euros. However, this amount is unbearable for the small family, that lives on miserable social benefits.
Alan Sabirov, 2 y. o., congenital heart disease, Elista, Russia.
On the 14th day of his life, Alan got an auxiliary heart surgery: a narrowing of the pulmonary artery in Almazov hospital, St. Petersburg. After the first surgery, the baby has been doing well and developed like an ordinary child. However, he needed a radical corrective heart surgery. The parents have applied to the Berlin Heart Disease Clinic (DHZB) for the treatment. The charity fund “Alesha” has helped to pay the bill. In August, Alan underwent the operation. Unfortunately, there were complications. On the third day after the surgery, terrible thing has happened – Alan has suffered a cerebral infarction, as a result of which a big part of his brain ceased to function. Now he needs an additional treatment. The clinic issued an additional bill for this treatment: EUR 80, 858.
It remains to collect EUR 40,000.

Anna Dikhanova, mother of 5 children, Ukraine, lymphoma. She is the wife of Archpriest Vladislav Dikhanov, the head the Synodal Department of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church for Social and Humanitarian Affairs, who always tried to help to those in need. An oncological disease has been recently diagnosed. Anna already receives a treatment in Germany, at Freiburg university clinic. She needs not only the financial support, but also the assistance of the volunteers. I will be grateful for the response! The bill for the third course of chemotherapy amounts to EUR 22,000.

Besides, we badly need apartments in Berlin and in Münster for our care-receivers under treatment. Please respond anybody could provide a housing for several weeks or months! We are also searching for volunteer translators in Münster and Bonn. We will be very grateful for your help!

HURRY TO DO GOOD!
I hug you heartily,
Yours Alina Titova
