FEBRUARY 2020

Dear friends, thank you for your reliability and responsiveness. Owing to your support, we are helping to an increasing number of children!

In January, we have paid for a part of the medical examination for Fr. Vyacheslav Perevezentsev, Moscow, brain tumour, the rehabilitation course for Nikita Kucherenko, Ukraine, 18 years old, cerebral palsy, a verticalizer for Dmitry Tokarev, 11 years old, Vladivostok, cerebral palsy. We have found a sponsor for the family of Artem Agarkov.

In February, our help is awaited by:

Roma Kuznetsov, 2 years old, Petrozavodsk, Russia, diagnosis: cerebral palsy.
The diagnosis has been established only recently. If Roma takes a rehabilitation course right away, he will be able to walk on his own. There are two more children in the family where only the farther is employed. Large funds are required for the rehabilitation. A Polish clinic “Olinek” has invoiced for EUR 2292. The family pleads for help.

Yulia Lepsheeva, 17 years old, Kazakhstan, diagnosis: fibroplastic synovial sarcoma of the nasopharynx, relapse.
In 2014, Yulia was diagnosed with a cancer. After removal of the tumor, Yulia underwent the chemо- and radiotherapy courses. In 2017, a relapse has occurred. Again, Yulia underwent a surgery and treatment. Yulia has always been a very active person: she sang, danced, participated in
competitions. When faced with the disease, she decided to become a surgeon to help people. Now the girl has enrolled a medical college and is successfully studying. In the end of 2019, the doctors have diagnosed a relapse again. Yulia needs an operation. A clinic in German city of Solingen is ready to treat the girl. The required examination costs EUR 5,000.
Artem Shemyakin, 6 years old, Pavlodar (Kazakhstan), diagnosis: nephroblastoma of the left kidney, relapse (metastases in the lung).
Artem is ill for 3.5 years. In this time, 6 courses of chemotherapy have been done, following an operation to remove the kidney and a part of the intestine, following 12 more courses of chemotherapy and 13 sessions of radiation therapy. The treatment has ended in August 2017. Every 3
months the parents bring Artem for the control. At an examination, the metastases in the lungs have been detected. He underwent the chemotherapy again, after which one focus has disappeared, while the second one was halved. The doctors have proposed a bone marrow transplantation. However, at the Blokhin Clinic in Moscow they found more appropriate to do an operation to remove the metastases, and perform the radiation therapy. There was a remission in February 2019. However, in January 2020, they have found again the metastases in the lungs. The Blokhin clinics recommends an urgent surgery. However, Artem is not a Russian citizen. This implies the parents have to pay for the surgery. The family resources are
depleted, parents collect the necessary EUR 12,000 from many a little.
Fedya Emelyanov, 4 years old, Izhevsk, Russia, diagnosis: cerebral palsy.
Fedya is disabled since childhood. Right after the birth, a brain hemorrhage has occurred. Its consequences have changed the life of the child and his family. From 2-3 months on, Fedya keeps his head on his own. From 7 months on, he sits. However, his arms and legs are weak, so Fedya cannot walk on his own until now. In the age of 3, the boy began to walk with the support, but this requires a great effort. The boy loves to draw and assemble Lego. He is trying his best to walk on his own. However, to improve his condition, Fedya requires a constant professional rehabilitation. The TeraReha clinic in Ratingen specializes in complex treatments of children with cerebral palsy. Their bill amounts to EUR 3900.
Natalia Khaustova, 26 years old, Ukraine, diagnosis: intestinal adenocarcinoma, relapse.
Natalia needs an urgent surgery at the Leverkusen clinic. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy. The doctors are optimistic. The surgery costs EUR 20,000.
In March, we will hold the next Dobro More rehabilitation program period in Montenegro. This time, we expect 23 care-receivers to take part in the program period. Thanks to the sponsors who responded to our requests, the accommodation, meals and the program are free for everyone. However, they have to get to the place of rehabilitation at their own expense. For many families that are exhausted by the long
struggle for the health of the child, this is impossible. We require your help for paying the plane tickets for a family from Nikolaev (4 people) and a family from Penza (7 people). In total, about EUR 3,000 are needed. When making a transaction to our account, please indicate the purpose of payment: Kinderhilfe Dobromore.

HURRY TO DO GOOD!
I heartily embrace everyone
Yours Alina Titova
