JUNE 2024

Thank you, dear friends, for your continued support! We continue our work, helping children who are in dire need of assistance.
Last month, Maria Shut, 1 y., from Belarus, has received help for her treatment for retinoblastoma.
This month, the help is needed for:

EVANGELINA DUDNIKOVA, 14 years old, Russia,
Diagnosis: Encephalopathy, epilepsy, scoliosis 4th degree
Evangelina was born with complications and spent her first days in intensive care, diagnosed with encephalopathy. Despite medical supervision and treatment, her condition worsened, with seizures developing, and kyphosis evolving into 4th degree scoliosis during the pandemic. She now has difficulty breathing and digestive problems. Despite these challenges, she retains the ability to walk with support and is very happy when she manages to do so. The only chance for a normal life is surgery in Germany. The amount needed is 51,000 euros.

ALEXANDER AKHRIMENKO, 2 y., Russia, Diagnosis: Retinoblastoma of both eyes.
At the age of 1 year and 1 month, Alexander was diagnosed with a condition that divided the family’s life into “before” and “after.” We have already helped this family last year. Thanks to your support, doctors were able to stop the tumor’s growth and partially restore vision in his left eye. However, retinoblastoma is a very dangerous and insidious disease, especially in childhood. To maintain a stable condition, Alexander needs monthly examinations in Switzerland. The family is exhausted and urgently needs your help to continue the treatment. The amount needed is 10,000 euros.

DIANA GURYANOVA, 14 y., Russia, Diagnosis: eye cancer. In December 2023, Diana started having problems with her left eye, which began to squint. After extensive examinations, she was diagnosed with a malignant eye tumor. Russian doctors recommended the removal of the eye, but Diana’s mother found a clinic in Switzerland where treatment is possible without removal. For chemotherapy and other necessary procedures, approximately 46,000 euros are needed.

The psychological rehabilitation session DOBROMORE will be held in Montenegro from October 18 to November 1 and will take place in three stages: a psychological seminar for volunteers and psychologists, training for volunteers, and a rehabilitation session for the families and volunteers. You can participate in individual blocks or the entire program. More detailed information and registration can be found on our website dobromore.eu. Since the plans are grand, we are also looking for more helpers to join our organizational team!

HURRY TO DO GOOD! Take care of yourself and your loved ones!
Warm regards,
Yours, Alina Titova
