Our volunteers from Cologne, Alexander and Sergei, have helped to a family of our care-receivers to move from the refugee hostel to an apartment. We thank them very much for their help! Alexander has fulfilled Eldar’s dream – he gave him a kitten for housewarming.

On July 16, a traditional charity ball in honor of Saints Peter and Fevronia, patrons of family and marriage, has been held in Stuttgart. They raised funds for the care-receivers of Diaconia. Thank you very much!

Cologne, master-class

On July 10, our volunteers in Cologne held a master class on making white flowers for the White Flower charity event. The master class was given, as usual, by a volunteer of the “Good Deed” Liya Ermolaeva. The atmosphere was very creative. Donations for white flowers will go to help our wards, sick children.

Our volunteers in Cologne congratulated our care-receiver Dima on his birthday. Unfortunately, visiting and communicating with the patients under treatment are still prohibited due to the epidemiological situation. The gift that Dima dreamed of – a large Lego construction set – was given by the volunteers through his mother.
Congratulations, Dima, and we wish you all the very best!

Farewell to Koraev family

From our volunteers from Cologne: “Recently we saw our care-receivers, the Korayev family, off home to North Ossetia. We made a real friendship with them over the years they spent here. Their beautiful daughter Kamila (baptized Elizabeth) was being treated in Cologne. The disease receded for a while but, alas, always came back again. A year ago, here in Cologne, our Kamila passed away to the Lord. Let the bright little angel be in the Kingdom of Heaven! We will always remember her. All our volunteers loved to play with Camila. She had inexhaustible inspiration and a lot of creative ideas and wished. We have visited our friends, her parents and younger brother, on the anniversary of her departure. We watched photos, videos, and remembered Kamila. We were smiling and crying at the same time. The next day the family flew home. And now we hope to visit them someday in their beloved Ossetia “.
