Dear volunteers of Diaconia “Good Deed”!
From the bottom of our heart, wholeheartedly, we thank you for your constant efforts and care for our family. It will be soon 7 years as our daughter Arisha and we have been going through – first the treatment, and then the control at the Uniclinic Cologne. All this time we have been parishioners of the Russian Orthodox parish in Porz. With no exaggeration, you have been with us in all difficult moments, supporting us with the prayers and good deeds !! Low bow to you from our whole family!
February 3 is the birthday of Arisha! This year we could not prepare properly for this celebration, since she was a little unwell. Yet a real feast was arranged for us at the parish: we have not received so much attention and gifts for a long time! Thank you very much! And special thanks go to the coordinator of the Cologne group of volunteers. Thank you again!

Here, in the parish of Sts. Cosmas and Damian in Essen, it has become a good tradition to hold a charity bazaar on the feast of the Nativity of Christ! This time, we have collected EUR 1,100 for the care-receivers of the Diaconia: Yana Labun (8 years old) and Alexey Sebov (2 years old).
We heartily thank the inspirers, helpers, participants and donators.
We thank everyone who made the dumplings, baked gingerbread, prepared the cakes, knitted the socks and hats for sell, have set the things up and sold everything.
Holding a bazaar also helps to wake up people for the parish life; more and more volunteers are willing to help.
Greetings, dear friends!
To put it shortly, in the festive and hurry-scurry month of December, we have helped to:
